Our aim is to help families thrive, through providing occupational therapy, sensory integration assessments and therapy to children and adolescents in Poole, Bournemouth, and the surrounding area.

We offer specialised services working with a range of neurological and Mental Health conditions such as: Autism, Sensory Processing Difficulties, ADD/ADHD, Dyspraxia, Developmental Delay, Learning Difficulties, Attachment difficulties, Anxiety, Self-harm and Depression amongst others.

Shoreline Occupational Therapy is run by Advanced Occupational Therapist, Katherine (Kate) Russell. Kate has over ten years’ experience as a qualified occupational therapist working within both the NHS and private sector.  Her experience spans across working with children, adolescents, and adults within the fields of CAMHS, learning disabilities, neurological services and she also set up the UKs first specialist therapy service for Child Sexual Exploitation and trafficking survivors.

She is registered with the HCPC and the Royal College of Occupational Therapists and has additional specialist training in areas such as Sensory Integration, Autism Assessment and treatment, Assessment of Motor and Process Skills (AMPS) and Non-Violent Resistance (NVR). 

She is a qualified Sensory Integration Practitioner.
