Zones Of Regulation Programme: £200
The Zones of Regulation is a tool geared toward helping children/adolescents gain skills in consciously regulating their actions, which in turn leads to increased control and problem-solving abilities.
Individuals learn to recognise when they are in different states called “zones,” and how to use strategies or tools to stay in a zone or move from one zone to another to help manage their emotional regulation.
A typical Zones Programme would consist of the following:
An hour 1:1 session with the child/adolescent to create a tailored care plan.
An hour/hour ½ session with the family/careers for feedback and training in the implementation of the care plan.
Individualised care plan and resources for implementation.
Sensory Strategies Programme: From £160
Following on from the sensory integration assessment it may be decided that the child/adolescent may benefit from sensory based interventions to support possible solutions and coping strategies.
Your occupational therapist will work with the individual and family to explore what best type of programme or type of sensory based intervention would best suit.
Examples of programmes could include tailored sensory diets, environmental changes and adaptations to the home or education setting, emotional regulation and The Interoception Curriculum.
Liaison, advice, and recommendations for education provisions or residential provisions where appropriate.
